Fast food: Cookies for peace.

Boston Herald

Team Up For Peace

Ginger Betty is trying to spread 8-year-old Boston Marathon bombing victim Martin Richard’s message of peace and love one cookie at a time.

Richard is the young Dorchester boy many remember for his handmade “peace” sign that said “no more hurting people.” The powerful photo of him holding the sign stood in harsh contrast to the senseless violence of the attack and became an international symbol of last year’s tragedy.

We've begun selling peace cookies soon after the bombing, donating more than $10,000 in proceeds to the Martin family.

Join us as Ginger Betty's & the GI Ginger Betty Foundation Sweetly Salutes Martin's Message for Peace!
