In-Store Purchases

Phone Orders

When placing orders by phone at 617-472-4729, we can securely process payment via credit or debit card.


PAYMENT SECURITY

Your payment security is our priority. All online transactions are processed through secure, encrypted connections. We do not store complete credit card information on our systems. Your payment details are handled by certified payment processors that comply with PCI-DSS security standards.


PRICING & CHARGES

Product Pricing

All prices listed on our website and in-store are in U.S. Dollars (USD). Prices are subject to change without notice, but your order will be charged at the price displayed at the time of purchase.

Sales Tax

Massachusetts sales tax will be added to all orders as required by state law.

Shipping Charges

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Order weight and size
  • Shipping destination
  • Selected delivery speed

You will see the exact shipping cost before finalizing your purchase.

Custom Order Pricing

Custom gingerbread houses require a personalized quote. Please call 617-472-4729 to discuss your custom design and receive pricing.


PAYMENT PROCESSING

When Payment is Charged

  • Online Orders: Payment is processed immediately when your order is placed.
  • Pre-Orders: Payment is charged at the time the order is placed to secure your spot in our production schedule.
  • Phone Orders: Payment is processed at the time you place your order with our team.

Order Confirmation

You will receive an email confirmation once your payment has been successfully processed. This confirmation includes your order number, items ordered, and estimated completion/delivery date.


DELIVERY OPTIONS

Local Pickup (FREE)

  • Available during store hours: Tuesday-Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 8am-3pm
  • You’ll receive notification when your order is ready
  • Please bring your order confirmation number
  • Valid ID may be required for pickup

Standard Shipping

  • Delivery within 5-7 business days after order processing
  • Available throughout the continental United States
  • Tracking information provided via email

Expedited Shipping

  • Available upon request for additional fee
  • 2-3 day delivery to most locations
  • Must be arranged by calling 617-472-4729
  • Limited availability during peak season

Local Delivery (Quincy & Surrounding Areas)

  • Available for large orders or special arrangements
  • Please call 617-472-4729 for availability and pricing
  • Delivery windows will be confirmed at time of order

DELIVERY TIMELINE

Processing Time

  • Pre-Ordered House Kits & Decorated Houses: 3-5 business days
  • In-Stock Cookie Kits & Decorated Cookies: 1-2 business days
  • Peak Season (November-December): Add 2-3 additional days

Total Delivery Time

Processing time + shipping time = total delivery time

Example: A pre-ordered house kit with standard shipping would take approximately 8-12 days total (3-5 days processing + 5-7 days shipping).


HOLIDAY DELIVERY DEADLINES

To guarantee delivery before Christmas:

  • December 15th: Last day for standard shipping orders
  • December 20th: Last day for expedited shipping orders
  • December 23rd: Last day for local pickup orders

We close December 25th through January 3rd annually.


DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS

Address Accuracy

Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate. We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery due to incorrect addresses. Address changes after order placement may not be possible.

Signature Requirements

Some shipments may require an adult signature upon delivery. If no one is available to sign, the carrier will leave a notice with instructions for redelivery or pickup.

Undeliverable Packages

If a package is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address or multiple failed delivery attempts, we will contact you to arrange reshipment. Additional shipping charges will apply.


REFUNDS & PAYMENT DISPUTES

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.

Payment Disputes

If you believe there is an error with your charge, please contact us immediately at 617-472-4729 or beth@gingerbettys.com. We will work to resolve the issue promptly.

Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your credit card company before contacting us, this may delay resolution and could affect future orders.
